Additionally, our mirror integrated driver and occupant monitoring system combines our state-of-the-art interior facing camera with a traditional rearview mirror to provide an unobstructed view to the driver and enhance vehicle safety by reducing the risk of accidents caused by driver inattention. Magna’s interior radars detect and track occupants inside the vehicle using radio waves to observe presence, position, and movement. It can determine live occupants or objects on passenger seats, detect breathing rates, and send child presence detection warnings to drivers via smartphones.
